DESCRIPTION:Reel Green™’s Sustainable Production Training offers free online training for the motion picture industry. Learn how motion picture production contributes to climate change and how to adopt best practices to reduce the environmental impact of production. This course offers a unique\, engaging and solutions-based training session offering attendees the information and inspiration to live and work in a more sustainable way. \nUpon successful completion of the course\, attendees will: \n\nunderstand how to act to reduce their impact within the three stages of production\nrecognize the impact that production has on the environment\nhave knowledge of the tools and techniques to lessen this impact and how to collect and report data\n\nTaking the Sustainable Production Training course is free and recommended to everyone in the motion picture industry. In this 2-hour training\, crew will learn how to adopt and implement more environmentally sustainable practices in the three stages of production.

The three-day event kicks-off on July 26\, 2024 and runs until July 28\, 2024 at the JW Marriott Parq Vancouver. \n\nSpeakers include Fresh Off The Boat’s Hudson Yang\, Beach House Pictures’ Donovan Chan and Joonsuh Park from Korean drama producer JTBC-SLL are among the speakers confirmed for the second edition of the summit in Vancouver.
