Sustainable Production: Brunch & Learn

IATSE Local 891 and DGC BC are presenting the first Sustainable Production: Brunch & Learn, an industry session focused on practical ways to wrap film and television productions responsibly.

The event will feature a series of five-minute, TED Talk-style presentations from crew members who have worked on productions including Backrooms, Virgin River, Yellowjackets, and more.

Participants will hear real examples from B.C. productions, learn about tools that can be applied within different departments, and explore how sustainable practices can become part of day-to-day production work.

The session will also provide opportunities to connect with:

• Production Managers
• Sustainability Advisors
• Art Department professionals
• Construction teams
• Set Decorators
• Other film and television industry professionals

Participants are encouraged to bring their questions and share their own on-set experiences as part of the conversation.

A brunch buffet will be provided, along with a complimentary coffee truck courtesy of Reel Green™. Attendees are encouraged to bring a reusable mug.
