Reel Green is partnering again with Surfrider Foundation Vancouver for a special screening of the documentary X TRILLION on Thursday April 9, 2026 at the Vancouver Maritime Museum.

Set a thousand miles from land, X TRILLION follows the all female eXXpedition crew led by ocean advocate Emily Penn as they sail 3,000 miles across the North Pacific – straight through the densest accumulation of ocean plastic on the planet. Directed by Eleanor Church, the film captures their high-seas journey, cutting edge microplastics research, and the team’s mission to make the unseen, seen.

This is the first Reel Green™ Screening Series event of 2026 spotlighting powerful climate stories while bringing community and industry together to spark conversations that inspire action.
