The Steveston Harbour Authority has installed a grid tie-in at their Chatham Street Lot, marking a significant step toward enhancing sustainability for the local film industry in Richmond. The kiosk will provide grid power to productions filming at the lot which has now banned the use of diesel-powered generators on site.
Located at 3300 Chatham Street there are two 200 A – 208 V 3-phase camlocks ready for use on the freshly paved lot. The tie-ins are online and available for hire at a fee of $500.00 per tie-in, per day, plus tax. Using tie-ins is not only better for the environment, they are also better for your budget.
