Reel Green™ is excited to announce the Clean Energy Committee is hosting a Battery Workshop in Victoria to share alternative energy solutions with Vancouver Island crew on April 15, 2025. The event is the first of its kind between Reel Green™ and the Vancouver Island South, and North Film Commissions.
The Reel Green™ initiative supports the British Columbia motion picture industry in making productions environmentally sustainable, and this event is an important step toward providing technical clean energy training for regional crews, vendors, and industry stakeholders.
Vancouver Island is renowned for its diverse landscapes and its communities in which the B.C. film industry operates. The event aims to reduce diesel generators on film and TV productions, promote electric battery technology, and highlight benefits to the communities our industry depends on.
